Featured Faculty Jana Gutenson is a Certified Music Judge and the Music Category Specialist; Associate Director of Scottsdale Chorus, six-time International Chorus Champions; top 10 International Quartet Finalist with Affinity; Chair of the Sweet Adelines International DEI Selection Committee, and an NAfME Music Educator of the Year recipient. Kindred 2023 Region 8 Champions 2022 Region 8 silver medalists & international wildcard Classes will include: special classes from Kindred "Tag, You're It" -- learning more about barbershop through tag singing "Warm Up Your Sound" -- developing ensemble sound with warm-ups "More Than Black Dots" -- unlocking the mysteries of the Music Category "Choosing Music" -- practical advice on finding the perfect fit for competition or performance "Finding Music" -- sources, legalities, arrangers And EVEN MORE! Quartet coaching from regional faculty will be available and attending quartets will be entered into a drawing to coach with Jana! The Saturday evening show will feature attending quartets, Kindred, 2023 Region 8 champions, and the Skyline Chorus, 2022 International silver medalists & 2023 Region 8 chorus champions & Kansas City international-bound chorus!
